What we keep, and for how long.

Four rules we hold ourselves to.
Only what we need.
We collect and keep the minimum data required to deliver the service, run our business, and meet our legal obligations.
Only as long as we need it.
We don't set arbitrary "keep forever" defaults. When data is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, we delete or anonymize it.
Stricter rules for AI tools.
We do not paste identifiable client data — customer lists, personal contact info, or proprietary documents — into third-party AI assistants. See our AI Transparency page for details.
You can ask, any time.
We honor access, export, and deletion requests from anyone who asks — not only where the law requires it. Some records (e.g. invoices) may have to be retained for legal or tax reasons.
Categories of data and why we hold them.
We deliberately avoid promising specific day or month counts here, because the right retention period depends on the type of record, your plan, and applicable law. If you'd like specifics for your account, ask your account lead — we'll walk through it.
Account & billing records
If you sign up for a paid plan, we keep the records needed to run your account and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. After your account is closed, we retain billing records only as long as required by law and then delete or archive them.
Project & deliverable data
Work product we create for you (drafts, reports, briefs, creative files) is kept for the duration of our engagement and for a reasonable period after, so we can hand it off, answer follow-up questions, or support a re-engagement. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Support and communications
Emails, chat transcripts, and call notes are kept for as long as needed to support you and to keep a record of the conversation. We periodically prune older threads that are no longer useful.
Website analytics & cookies
Anonymous/aggregate visitor analytics are kept on a rolling basis to understand site performance. You can manage cookie preferences from our cookie settings at any time. See our Privacy Policy for the cookie categories we use.
Marketing contacts
If you opt in to updates, we keep your contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Unsubscribe links are in every marketing email.
Access, export, or delete your data.
Anyone can ask — you don't have to live in a regulated jurisdiction to use these. We'll confirm your identity, then respond as quickly as we reasonably can. Some records (like paid invoices) may have to be retained to meet legal or tax obligations, and we'll tell you if that applies.
Access or export
Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We'll send it in a readable format.
Delete
Ask us to delete your data. We'll comply unless we're required to keep specific records (e.g. financial) by law — and we'll tell you which.
